Mike Scullion – Director/Producer/Teacher

Experience:

Certified Media 100 Editor, Adobe AFX. Michael has over 30 years experience in the fields of creating, writing, production, and editing. He was a producer, writer and director on the feature Film “Gobshite/Hooligans” which was distributed in Eight countries most recently by Warner Bros Home Video in the United States. He wrote produced and directed the Documentary “Downtown Dawgs: Road to The Homeless World Cup which was recently released by Peacearch Entertainment in Canada and Internationally by Snagfilms.com (The biggest online documentary distributor in N. America. He wrote produced directed, edited and scored 13 episodes of “Soccer Shortz” for YTV and has directed and edited over 200 episodic TV shows for various national networks including Global TV TSN, YTV, WAM Network, CMT and the A-Channel.

He is also a professional musician and composer for A&M Records and  “Universal Music”. Michael has written and produced top award-winning commercials and has 20-years of experience in corporate and private video production. He scored music for the Canadian television movie “Primo Baby” and is a winner of the Golden Sheaf Award for a Music Video. Michael has been teaching Film & Video Production and Graphic Design at Robert Thirsk High school since 2013. Michael has been with the Calgary Board of education since 1992.
